We had an amazing time at our Art Walk this past Thursday, March 26th. There were over 250 attendees. It was a blast watching the kids show off their artwork to their parents! We also loved having the treat of watching the SDC Show Choir perform in their poodle skirts. I have to say, our Art Walk Security Guards really put the finishing touch on the whole evening!
In the past we used the company, First Artworks, which framed each child's artwork on the night of the show. Since the company ceased business back in January, we came up with a new route. This year, we are partnering with Artsonia, the world's largest kids' art museum online. Schools earn 15% when parents purchase custom keepsakes with their child's artwork.
Parents, if you attended the Art Walk and put your child's work in the "Artsonia" box, I will be taking photographs and posting them on the website within a week. The direct link to our school's gallery on Artsonia is:
