Kindergarten Paper Sculptures

Kindergarten students have been learning about sculpture. We talked about how sculptures differ from 2-dimensional artworks like paintings and drawings because they have form and take up space. We discussed that sculptures can be made of many materials and can be seen inside buildings and in the outside environment as well.

I love how paper strips and glue can lead to all kinds of interesting creations! It was wonderful watching the kids experiment and problem solve their way through their sculptures!
