You can tell this student was inspired by The Starry Night!
I found the original idea for this project at Creative Art Lessons and knew I had to give it a whirl with my 4th grade students. There is something quite pleasing when using oil pastels on black paper and I knew that my students would get a kick out of making landscapes featuring 3-dimensional pumpkins!! We had a high success rate with this project, plus we covered a mountain of information and hit lots of curriculum standards!! The students are so proud of their work!
