This post is a week late, however, I wanted to show off the work that many of my classes had the opportunity to create around Valentine's Day. I used the bulletin boards and cases outside my room to show off our heART work.
Kindergarten and 1st grade worked in the style of Jim Dine using a few different techniques I found via Pinterest and my other favorite website, Artsonia. Some pieces are small, 6x9 while others are on the largest paper I have in the art room, 24x36.
My 3rd graders worked in the style of Keith Haring using positive/negative shapes and energy lines!
